Cabin Fever-Rustic Style Comes Home by Rachel Carley
A turn-of-the-century island camp and many other award-winning lakefront residences designed by CPWA are featured in this book published by Simon & Shuster. Ms. Carley is actively involved in historic preservation and has written several books in the field of architecture. She holds a master's degree in historic preservation from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture and Planning and is a former staff member of the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission
The Adirondack Home by Ralph Kylloe
Several lakeside homes designed by CPWA area featured in this new book by award winning Adirondack-style furniture designer and author, Ralph Kylloe Colonial Style by Treena Crochet One of the residences designed by CPWA is featured repeatedly throughout this book. Due to an automobile accident, the author's subsequent injuries and print deadlines the first printing of the book does not include credit to CPWA. Future editions will include the approprirate credit. Rustic Revisited by Ann S. O'Leary The first book to take a comprehensive look at rustic design today celebrates, in words and images, a style that is being referenced in homes from Maine to California. Ms. O'Leary is an interior designer who has designed accessories for companies including Nieman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. 2004 2007 WMUR television interviewed Chris as part of a week long study of New Hampshire architects and their work. Publication/Author Press Room 2008 Cabin Life Magazine The June 2008 issue features an article written by Fran Sigurdsson on a rustic timberframe vacation home nestled into a wooded site near Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire. Photos of "Rustic Vacation Home" (by photographer Bob Manley) can be viewed by clicking on Portfolio, Residential/Timberframe. 2008 Heart of New Hampshire Magazine The Winter 2008 issue includes an article written by Deborah Graham (with photography by John Hession) on "green building styles" using timberframe in the Lakes Region. The recently completed Tin Mountain Conservation Center was the focus of the article. The Center includes radiant floor heating, a solar thermal array system that provides 75% of the building's heating needs, and a propriatary photovoltaic solar system that provides 54% of the building's annual electrical needs, More than 20 locally harvested woods were used on interior finishes. Williams, AIA, NCARB 2011 New Hampshire Home Magazine The March/April issue features a LEED Platinum certified home that began as a straightforward renovation of an existing century old cottage and morphed into a beautiful home with state of the art technology and a secret room! 2011 New Hampshire Home Magazine The July/August cover story features an Adirondack style boathouse on Squam Lake, and also features a home on Lake Kanasatka that earned the top green certification from the National Association of Home Builders (one of only 36 homes nationwide to be so honored). 2011 Granite State Builder Magazine The summer 2011 issue features a LEED Platinum certified home on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. 2011 Today's Historic Interiors by E.
